Privacy Notice

Mathslume collects account details and learning data to run lessons, practice, assessments and the AI tutor. Tutor messages are sent to an AI service. Linked parents and teachers can see a student's progress.

Hosting logs and backups may have separate retention periods; the 90-day analytics expiry does not promise deletion from those systems.

Optional first-party analytics

Analytics are off until explicit acceptance and use only event name, UTC date and daily count. No Google Analytics, Measurement Protocol or page tracking is used. No individual history, identity, account/login session, IP, user agent, learning details, feedback text, URL, referrer or advertising identifier is stored in analytics. A separate five-minute consent capability stores only a random token hash, expiry and remaining request budget, with no account or event linkage. Only MFA-verified administrators see counts; values below five, including zero, are hidden. Totals expire after 90 days from the start of their UTC date and are removed hourly while running or at next startup; expired totals are excluded from reports. Aggregates cannot be attributed to a visitor for individual deletion. Hosting infrastructure may process network metadata outside analytics records. Enable JavaScript to accept, reject or withdraw on this page. Withdrawal stops further event submissions and requests capability revocation but cannot recall processed requests. If revocation fails, the capability expires within five minutes. Your preference is saved in browser local storage, or lasts for this page session if storage is unavailable.

Beta feedback

Feedback is optional and does not require a name or email. We store your category, message, consent version and creation/expiry timestamps without linking them to your account. Only administrators can read feedback to improve the beta. Feedback expires after 180 days and is automatically removed during cleanup.

Never include passwords, contact details or identifiable student information. Short-lived, daily-rotated keyed hashes of network identifiers and counters are stored separately for up to 24 hours for rate limiting, with signed one-use form tokens and a honeypot to deter spam. Hosting and security logs may separately process network metadata.

We do not sell data or show third-party advertising. You can change your password or delete your account in Settings. Minors should use Mathslume with a parent or guardian's knowledge and consent.
